Dining room, two floors below the roof leak

The last bit of moisture

Fireplace in master bedroom
(white on both sides are shades)

This fireplace once had a mantel as evidenced in drill holes used to hold the mantel.

It may have been painted, as the bricks over the mantel show the pitting from sandblasting.

The fireplace was tuck pointed with Portland cement mortar which is destroying the brick.

The tuck pointing had to be removed and replaced

In one spot Portland cement was used to cover the face of a decaying brick.  The Portland cement patch has further eroded and destroyed the brick underneath.
