When we originally purchased the home it was empty. An inspection of the home's brickwork found that some of it was in 'imminent danger of collapsing'. Jodi Graichen from the German Village Historical Preservation, was kind enough to expedite the paperwork to get some of the repair work approved. Representatives from the German Village Society came out and did a quick evaluation on the home. They concurred and an approval for work was issued in record time.
One of the items approved was the replacement of a large front window.
